ARTIST BIOgraphy

Leah Grant is a street artist, potter and educator based in Adelaide, South Australia. Her work is bright, colourful and uplifting. She explores the textures and colours of various mediums, focusing most recently with aerosol and ceramics.

Her approach is energetic yet emanates a peaceful, reflective mood. Drawing on her own life experiences, relationships and emotions, Leah produces work that is intended to challenge others.

Leah graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Federation University in 2009, later completing a Diploma of Education (Secondary) in 2012. She is passionate about education that develops creativity, innovation and experimentation. Leah uses her own practice to inspire and encourage her students.

Leah's work encourages a slower pace, to allow room to breathe, reconsider ideas and see a new beauty within. Her work has been recognised to have a unique style, full of colour, drawing the attention of various print and online media outlets. Including Adelady, Glam Adelaide and GT Magazine

We first discovered Leah Grant on Instagram and were instantly blown away by her bright, bold artwork. As it turns out, she’s as bold and as bright as her paintings. Leah’s a visual artist, who creates layered, vibrant colours with various mediums. Her paintings will make your heart smile. We should ALL have a Leah Grant (or two) in our lounge rooms.
