“This is possibly the most abstract piece I’ve made so far. It was created with aerosol on canvas, photographed and created into a giclée print. The piece is soft and welcoming and I feel like it is well balanced in colour and composition. My personal interpretation of the title is not one that is negative and envious, but instead in awe of a dear friend that thrives in the face of adversity. I really don’t know how she does it, but she’s truly inspirational and I’m so glad she is in my life.”
